Castleknock Golf Club is situated 3 miles from the city centre alongside Farmleigh House
and forms part of the uplands over the Liffey valley and adjacent to the Strawberry Beds. The course is framed by extensive deciduous woodlands which clothe the Liffey escarpment giving the course a
maturity and an ambience which makes it unique particularly as it is so close to the centre of Dublin.
Because of the surrounding woodlands the character of the course changes with the seasons
and with changing colours and hues reflecting the different times of the year.
